Dizzy Thinking
Honest reflections
for messy minds.
Same roads. Different thoughts. Still figuring it out.
Find a thoughtsometimes I just go for a drive.
A little context
I don’t have it figured out.
That’s kind of the point.
Dizzy Thinking is where I try to understand how I get from one thought to the next. The relationships, memories, music, mistakes, questions, random detours and 37 open tabs that somehow become the way I see the world.
This isn’t advice, and it isn’t a roadmap for how anyone else should think, feel or heal. It’s simply an honest look at how I got from A to B.
Sometimes I find an answer. Sometimes I understand the question a little better. Sometimes I just go for a drive.
A few places to start
01 / The Thought
The Drive
I’ve been taking drives to nowhere for most of my life. At 18, one of them somehow ended in Juárez, Mexico.
More than thirty years later, I’m still driving. I’m starting to understand that maybe the destination was never really the point.
The first Thought is on its way.
The video: coming soon.
02 / Fragments
Thoughts don’t always need 2,500 words.
A thought, a question, a realization, a song. Something funny, something uncomfortable, or something I haven’t figured out yet.
Some become bigger Thoughts. Some don’t need to.

Earlier roads.
Still part of the story.
Dizzy Thinking has changed. So have I.
The original essays are still here. Some reflect exactly what I think today. Some don’t. Some I’d probably write very differently now.
I’m not interested in pretending those versions of me didn’t exist just because I’ve learned something since. So I’m keeping them.

There isn’t a finish line here.
Just thoughts, stories, music, some really long drives, and an attempt to understand myself and the people around me a little better.
For today, that’s enough.
I don’t have to figure it all out right now.
